About Me

My name is Lauren Zoneraich, and I am in eighth grade. When I was younger, I visited SeaWorld, oblivious to the animal cruelty that was occurring. I first became passionate about the captive orca whales at SeaWorld when I saw the documentary, Blackfish, and was exposed to the dark side of SeaWorld. I think that it is important to shed light on the horrors of SeaWorld because many people are unaware of the issue. Also, informing the public can increase the effort of freeing the animals in marine mammal entertainment parks such as SeaWorld.
